With the Paris COP just around the corner, and Prime Minister Trudeau’s cabinet now named, join the Sustainable Energy Initiative for an important and informative discussion chaired by SEI Co-Chair Prof. Mark Winfield, with five leading experts the new government’s likely directions environmental, energy and climate change policy.

Our speakers will include:

  • Tzeporah Berman – Environmental activist, author of This Crazy Time: Living Our Environmental Challenge, and FES Adjunct Professor.
  • John Godfrey – Special Advisor to the Government of Ontario on Climate Change; former Minister of State for Infrastructure and Communities; and federal Liberal Environment Critic.
  • David McLaughlin – Former Chair of the Nation Round Table on the Environment and Economy and Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Brian Mulroney and New Brunswick Premier Frank McKenna.
  • Gord Miller – Past Environmental Commissioner of Ontario and federal Green Party Candidate.
  • Rick Smith – Executive Director of the Broadbent Institute
